The concomitant administration of Mobic and lithium can cause lithium toxicity. The concomitant administration of this medicine and warfarin type anticoagulants can cause with fatal gastrointestinal bleeding. It should be used with caution in patients with impaired renal function. It should be used carefully in patients suffering from dehydration. The patient should be re-hydrated before initiation of therapy with this medicine. Mobic can reduce the diuretic and antihypertensive effects of loop, and thiazide diuretics. The use of this medicine with low dose aspirin can cause increased gastrointestinal ulceration. The use of Mobic causes an increased risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke. It can cause serious gastrointestinal events including bleeding, ulceration, and perforation of the stomach, small intestine or large intestine. Patients should be informed of incidence of hepatotoxicity, which can occur during Mobic treatment. It is not used as an alternative to corticosteroids or to treat corticosteroid insufficiency. It can cause anemia due to fluid retention and GI blood loss. Mobic can cause serious skin side effects such as exfoliative dermatitis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
